ATV Riding at Wilsons on Moosehead Lake

ATTENTION ATV ENTHUSIASTS! Marked ATV trails start right at the end of our driveway. You can leave your front door and head out on miles & miles of trails. This is your best chance to see the North Maine Woods. Don't forget your camera! We will give you the directions for a short or long ride.

Some of you may or may not know, but ATV riding has changed in the state of Maine. Please ensure that you are familiar with the new laws that were effective in September of 2004. All ATV riding must be done on marked club trails only unless you have written landowner permission. The trail system generally opens the end of May when things start to dry out and run through December or until the first large snowfall when ATVs are put away and snowmobiling begins!

We are happy to assist you in planning your ATV adventure and prepare you for a great time of ATV riding the responsible way. The purpose is to make riding as enjoyable as possible, while at the same time ensuring that it has a positive impact on nature. Remember, you can legally ride your ATV right from your cottage at Wilsons on Moosehead Lake!
